Your Foxy Pinup Photographer's Baby is Almost Here! | Kansas City Pinup & Boudoir Photographer

For those of you that don't know, I am having a baby at the end of June/beginning of July! 

I am so excited and I cannot wait to be a mom! I wanted to post this information to let you know and keep you posted on Foxy Pinup Sessions and photo orders. At this point in my pregnancy, I can have baby at anytime. My official Maternity leave begins June 24th and continues through August 5th (unless I have the baby earlier than June 24th). We will begin scheduling sessions again the week of August 13th.

What does this mean for people who haven't had their session appointments yet? 

If you are a scheduled Groupon appointment (you booked your Groupon before the expiration date) and I go into labor early or if I'm having any complications during these next few weeks, we will reschedule your session into August so you don't miss out on your Groupon. If this is the case and we do reschedule you, I apologize ahead of time for any inconveniences.  

What does this mean for Photo and Product Orders?

Photos are placed in our cue according to the date they are ordered and when payment on that order is made.  We are currently running on this turnaround time chart for those of you that have already placed your orders. It is my goal to get out all current orders before taking my maternity leave on the 24th. I will not be editing any photos or placing orders to my photo company during that time. If you currently don't have an order placed and you would like your photos before August, we recommend getting your order in as soon as possible as June 2nd is our cutoff date for orders to be ready pre-maternity leave. Otherwise, I will be able to get them to you after I come back from maternity leave in the order that I received them. You are more than welcome to place your orders during my maternity leave-I just wont be starting on them until after the 5th of August.

Hilary Hope's Foxy Pinups
Thank you for booking your Foxy Pinup Session with Hilary Hope Photography! We are so excited for your session, and we know that you are too! Here are some things to remember for your shoot: We are located at 914 E 29th St. Apt 3. This is about 5 minutes driving time from the Crown Center. For parking, drive past the apartment building and then make a left before Harrison Street into the parking lot. We are located on the third floor. If you get lost, please call Hilary at either 708.498.HOPE or 509.859.3388. Ring us when you get here and we will walk you upstairs! Each appointment lasts about 3 hours, with a good portion of those 3 hours being prep time. We've got all the clothes, including undergarments, for you to wear. However, if you have anything that you would like to wear, bring it with! Your sessions includes 1 Pinup outfit and 1 Lingerie outfit. If you'd like to do any additional outfits, you may do so for $25. We ask for you to wear a pair of your own underwear under our undergarments for your photographs. If you own nude or black panties/thongs, these work best. If you are a well endowed women, please bring a brazier that you feel pretty in to wear as well. Come with a clean face! If you forget, don't worry. We have awesome Mary Kay products for you to wash your face with. All our makeup and facial products are hypoallergenic. You must have clean and dry hair on the day of your pinup shoot. This makes it easy for our stylist Amanda to curl and pin-up up your hair. She is fantastic, so please don't forget to acknowledge her superb styling skills with a gratuity if you feel so inclined. Our genre of pinup is called "cheesecake," and it's just as cute and tasty as it sounds! This means that we are a no nudity studio. We take photos of implied nudity only, like in the heart photo above. We coach you the whole way through your session, so there is no need to worry! If you have any questions on pinup poses or if you have ideas that you'd like to try, feel free to email us before your session, or just make sure you tell us your ideas the day of. We love collaborating creatively! Please remember, all the poses we select are true to the era. We are all about being cute, sweet, and of course, sexy. All three together is what makes Foxy Pinups so unique and fun!  If you are a Groupon Appointment, Don't Forget Your Groupon! We cannot photograph your session if you are without your Groupon. What is a Foxy Pinup Session?

A Foxy Pinup Session is a photo shoot that evokes your inner diva! It's totally sexy, completely vintage, and simply the bee's knees!

What happens during your shoot?

You are totally pampered! Our hairdresser Amanda works with you to figure out your perfect pinup hairstyle. When your hair is finished, a vintage makeup look is applied. Then you get to raid our closet! We have tons of dresses, skirts, shoes, and sexy little things to choose from. After you've put your outfit on, we put you infront of the mirror for the big reveal. There you are-a sexy blast from the past! When you're ready for your close up, Hilary gives it to you. You receive pinup coaching with each pose and you get to release your inner vixen for the camera!

How does Hilary edit these foxy photos?

Hilary works tirelessly on your perfection. Your pictures are airbrushed with gentle cellulite removal while keeping your original body shape. You pick the photos to edit and you're in complete control of what is edited away or put in. The pictures will definitely be you at your very best. The celebrities get this treatment and Hilary is determined for you to get it too!
